Engaging 5000+ colleagues in continued vision

The end of September marked the culmination of a large programme of work to deliver 4 inspirational managerial events and the start of a firm-wide cascade process, all focused on the theme ‘Our Journey Continues.. but our vision remains the same’.

Designed to engage colleagues in the continued vision for the business, the Our Journey Continues sessions are all about celebrating successes and reflecting on how far the business and individual teams have come over the last 6 years, understanding the challenges and opportunities of the changing water sector and defining what Severn Trent wants to get better at in the future on its journey to be the best water and waste water company in the UK.

Motivating managerial sessions, hosted at Leicester Tigers and Hilton Birmingham Metropole and delivered by Severn Trent’s Executive Committee, tasked Severn Trent’s leadership with cascading the messages and frameworks to their teams (through interactive sessions at a local level) and with setting a clear example through living the message in their day-to-day roles.

We have been involved in all aspects of the project: event theming, concept development for engagement tools, creative direction, film scripting, direction, filming and production of key videos used throughout the events, and design and production of key collateral including literature and online resources. We are now working with the Communications team to put in place a plan for keeping the momentum going over the next few months of cascade and beyond.
