Launching two classics at Boat Show

Discovery Yachts’ presence at the Southampton Boat Show last week not only provided the setting to successfully launch their new classic – The Discovery 57. Further, it provided the stage for this enterprising British firm to [re]launch itself as a reinvigorated and confident contender in the luxury yacht sector.

Geared with a portfolio of new and improved corporate literature and a more positive and aspirational outlook, Discovery Yachts took full advantage of the Boat Show to present themselves a little differently. They utilised a specially designed meet and greet area and exclusive presentations from Nigel Stuart, Managing Director, that offered an introduction to the new 57. The 57 is the ultimate short-handed cruising yacht due to be unveiled in 2012. Additionally, it offered an insight into Discovery’s rich heritage. Following more than a year of working with Discovery – a rewarding process that has defined and reshaped their brand strategy, strengthened their brand identity and revitalised their communications collateral – it was truly encouraging to see this unique firm take on my advice and position themselves where they should be – center-stage! 2012 looks bright!
