Earlier this year our Head of Brand, Rebecca, was invited to be interviewed for the BBC’s Rip Off Britain. In advance of a future feature, she was happy to offer an independent perspective on brand. Rip Off Britain is the BBC One series that exposes Britain’s rip-offs and helps consumers. Presented by former news journalists Angela Rippon, Gloria Hunniford and Jennie Bond, the team tackle issues that matter most to consumers, ranging from bills and bad customer service to holidays and food.
The BBC sent a film crew to interview Rebecca and observe her at work in our new studio. They wanted to show her in the office environment with the team to reinforce her position as a brand specialist. Rebecca provided an expert, independent opinion on the power and misuse of brand for a future episode that will air in September 2016.
Rebecca is a regular commentator on brand-related issues and news stories for BBC’s channels (Panorama, News, World Service) and many broadsheet newspapers.
Unfortunately she’s been sworn to secrecy. So, while we may have overheard what she said during filming, we cannot share any details at this point.
Keep your eyes glued to the box during September…
