It goes without saying that one of the main reference points for your brand is your website. It’s often the first port of call for potential customers, employees and partners. It’s a shop window, but it’s also so much more than that. Ultimately, it should provide all visitors with the chance to start building meaningful relationships with you.
There are two kinds of website projects we work on:
Straightforward ‘brochure-style’ websites that we scope, design and develop entirely in-house using the WordPress platform. Usually, these range from £5,000 to +£15,000. These websites typically don’t require extended functionality, such as an eCommerce platform.
On more complex projects, we partner with specialist web development agencies. Typically, we will scope and populate the content as well as designing and setting up the core page templates. Our web development partner will usually take care of the back-end content management system (CMS) development and any advanced technical functionality.
An example of a recent collaboration is the residential homes website for local property developer A.C.Lloyd. rbl worked in partnership with Noisegate Media to deliver this comprehensive site with extended functionality.
We increasingly offer SEO services for basic websites in-house. We ensure all websites we create adhere to technical, content and authoritative standards set out by search engines. This includes optimising page speed, keyword-based copywriting and hierarchical layout of content, amongst many other things.
We also take care of all administrative aspects of SEO, meaning your new website will be available to search on Google in no time. On slightly more complex projects with a requirement for ongoing SEO management and digital advertising, we partner with a dedicated agency: Hallam Internet.
