Our team is growing

Back in January, we set out to look for a senior Brand Consultant and Account Director to join the team and are delighted to have found two exceptionally talented individuals to join the agency.

We enjoyed our most successful year to date in 2018/19 winning significant strategic branding projects from clients current and new. This included big projects and/or contact extensions from Severn Trent, The University of Warwick and Innovate UK plus a host of important new business wins including Motorsport UK, the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, The Commonwealth Games Federation, The University of Hull, telent Technology Services and many others. It’s been an incredible year all round.

On the back of our recent success and growth, we have strengthened the agency’s senior team and are delighted to welcome Steph Beesly and Rhiannon Lowe to the fold.

Steph Beesly – Senior Brand Consultant and Head of Brand Designate

Steph joined the agency’s management team at the beginning of 2019 and is spending the next few months shadowing Rebecca in her current role as Head of Brand. In September 2019 Steph will take over this role full-time, freeing Rebecca up to concentrate on being our MD, leading strategic projects and building key relationships.

After 18 years working in marketing and communications agencies for a range of clients such as Hewlett Packard, Unilever, GSK and Kimberly-Clark, Steph has spent the last 7 years as an independent Brand Consultant advising a mix of start-ups and established businesses on how their brand can be developed to support their business ambitions.

“When I first came across rbl I was seriously impressed by the strength of their strategic offering to clients, encapsulated in their proprietary six-stage process. Having worked in a number of agencies in the UK and overseas, I can honestly say that I’ve never come across a methodology that is so considered and comprehensive, and which works so well in setting up a brand platform and creative expression that truly delivers what their clients need. Working with rbl these last few months has been a steep and fascinating learning curve, and I’m really excited about helping to take the agency and its client offer to even greater heights in future.”

Rhiannon Lowe – Account Director and Senior Brand Consultant

Rhiannon is our latest recruit joining rbl after working as Head of Brand & Creative Content at Unicef.

With 12 years’ experience managing and working with some of the UK’s leading brands and a master’s in Marketing & Strategy from Warwick Business School, she has a deep understanding of all aspects of the strategic branding process.

Rhiannon is vastly experienced in working with clients at every stage to create strategies and communications that reflect the ambitions of the business and are insight-led, engaging, and successful.

Working alongside Karen Newbold, Head of Client Services, Rhiannon will be overseeing some of our larger projects and accounts ensuring that the agency delivers the perfect balance of strategy, creativity and delivery.

“I’m delighted to be joining rbl at such an exciting time of growth. rbl’s brand philosophy and commitment to producing powerful insight led-strategy married with beautiful creative, delivered expertly, makes it the perfect agency to join for the next stage in my career.”

We are delighted to have two such talented and experienced senior marketeers and brand consultants join the team and know that they have the most enormous contribution to make to our clients and our agency as we prepare for the next exciting chapter in our development.

Rebecca, Karen and Adam are all looking forward to sharing the workload, realising new opportunities and occasionally going home on time!
