Saving lives and rebuilding futures
through awareness, research and support

Meningitis Trust and Meningitis UK have come together in 2013 to create a united force in the fight to prevent meningitis and to support families living with the after effects

A united voice for newly merged charities

In this highly competitive and tough economic environment, Meningitis Now needed to excel at articulating a powerful message, capturing attention and building a more diverse supporter base. Appointed to develop a new name, proposition and identity, we worked with the senior team to develop a clear direction for this ambitious social enterprise that is more strategic in intent and effective in execution.

Engaging hearts and minds

The ongoing communication and governance surrounding the project was highly complex, with the team needing to involve and get buy in from key groups such as the Board of Trustees.

The majority of people engaged during the process had an emotional investment in the charity and its performance, and there were many parts of the project that needed to be dealt with very sensitively. We facilitated several extremely moving focus groups, involving sufferers, their families, volunteers, and donors in the future direction of the charity, ensuring that the views of those affected by the disease were reflected in the new brand.

"rbl has been amazing to work with and have helped create something that the whole team is proud to be part of. We couldn't have gotten here without all of their expertise and skills. I am really looking forward to continuing to work with Rebecca and her team as we drive forward."

Working to achieve an ambitious vision

Meningitis Now are working to achieve a future where no one in the UK loses their life to meningitis and everyone affected gets the support they need to rebuild their lives.

rbl is working closely with the Meningitis Now team on an ongoing basis to provide high-level advice and tactical creative support at a reduced rate, supporting this inspirational team as they continue to save lives and rebuild futures.

Little feet across the country are stomping to help best Meningitis

We have revamped Meningitis Now’s Toddle Waddle to create a fresh, more flexible event concept that informs, engages and inspires.

Under 5s are the most at risk group for meningitis, accounting for over 50% of all cases. Toddle Waddle is a fun and exciting way for the under 5s to get out and about for a short, sponsored stomp for children just like them and is a vital channel for increasing awareness of the signs and symptoms of meningitis among parents of young children.
